Exercises in this program enhance balance, posture,
coordination, and attention span; while increasing overall aerobic
endurance, flexibility and body fat loss. The secret to our type of
training is to keep the spine and brain in mind while training. This
foundation in training ensures that your child remains safe while
working out and that their respective work effort is maximized
regardless of skill set or talent level.
Research shows that
regular physical activity in childhood and adolescence helps build
stronger bones and muscles, control weight, reduce anxiety and stress,
increase self esteem and reduce the risk of premature diseases. Positive
experiences with physical activity at a young age can help your child
start a lifetime of beneficial physical activity.
Our youth fitness program will get your child get
in shape and burn calories. This is all done in a safe and balanced
manner that boosts both sports and academic performance.
Parents are challenged to provide their respective
children with a healthy balanced diet and Studio Zen will do the rest!
BOYS & GIRLS AGES 6-8 = BABY JUMPERS (Athletic/
Non-Athletic)
BABY JUMPERS participate in age appropriate
non-weight bearing exercises that boost cardiovascular endurance and
overall body strength. BABY JUMPERS work extensively at balancing
exercises, coordination exercises and posture.
BOYS & GIRLS AGES 9-11 = JUMPERS (Athletic/
Non-Athletic)
JUMPERS participate in age appropriate, light
weight bearing exercises that boost cardiovascular endurance and overall
body strength. JUMPERS work extensively as well at balancing and
coordination exercises with the addition of resistance bands and
medicine balls.
BOYS & GIRLS AGES 12-14 = FLYERS (Athletic/ Non
Athletic)
FLYERS complete age appropriate, moderate weight
bearing exercises that enhance cardiovascular endurance and body
strength. FLYERS are challenged to take a more mental approach and
responsibility to fitness training. They are also taught to compete
effectively and fairly. FLYERS may use resistance bands, stability
balls, medicine balls, and weighted belts/vests or weighted bags while
training.
BOYS & GIRLS AGES 15 & UP = ELITE FLYERS
(Athletic/ Non Athletic)
ELITE FLYERS complete age appropriate, and moderate
to heavy weight bearing exercises that enhance cardiovascular endurance
and strength. ELITE FLYERS are subject to all modalities of fitness
training and are challenged each session in an effort to practice
discipline and resiliency.
